Steps for Faculty members to update their own faculty research profiles.
- Go to the following url and Log In:
http://www.educ.sfu.ca/profiles/wp-admin
- Click on "Pages" on the left
- Type your name in the search box, at the top right corner, and click "Search Pages" (or you can simply browse the list to find your own name)
- Click on your own name in blue
- Make edits (see "Useful Tips for Editing")
- When you are done, click "Update Page" on the right to save the changes
- View you updates by clicking "View Page" at the top, a new window will open to show your profile with the new edits
- If the update works as intended, just click "Log Out" at the top right corner, otherwise repeat step 5-7
Useful Tips for Editing:
- Place cursor over tool buttons on top and a tool tip will display to tell you what the tool is
- The last tool on the right is the "Kitchen Sink" tool, and it shows/hide the extra tools

- The second last tool on the right is the Full Screen Mode, which allows you to maximize the editing area on your screen

- When uploading images, use the Browser uploader instead of the Flash uploader
