Parking and Directions:
Parking arrangements
have only recently been finalized due to the
considerable amount of construction going on
at SFU this summer. SFU parking
services has very kindly offered to allow all
parents to park for one hour, free of charge
in LOT C while their children attend the programme. However, TO
ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THIS FREE PARKING,
YOU MUST PARK IN LOT C. THERE IS NO FREE
PARKING IN THE VISITORS LOTS OR IN ANY OTHER
SFU PARKING LOTS.
LOT C is a parking lot
that is reserved for staff and student parking
for most of the year. You
should be receiving a parking pass in the mail
for you to display on the dash of your car so
that you will not be ticketed when you park in
LOT C. If you have not received this pass
by July 4th, we will reissue you a parking pass
on the first day of the programme.
Directions from Galardi Way (see map)
- When you get to the stoplight at the corner
of Galardi Way and University Drive East, turn
right onto University Drive East
- Follow University
Drive East, past Discovery Park, until you
reach Tower Road. Turn
left onto Tower Road. This is the road that
will take you to the Cornerstone Village and
the parking lots.
- Follow Tower Road
until you reach the stop sign and turn left
on to University High Street.
- Follow University
High Street past the Cornerstone Village
and on your left you will see “LOT
C”. This is where you will park. The
Education building is across the road from
LOT C.
Directions from Hastings Street (see map)
- When you get to the stoplight at the corner
of Burnaby Mountain Parkway and Galardi Way,
continue straight on (the road now becomes
University Drive East.)
- Follow University
Drive East, past Discovery Park, until you
reach Tower Road. Turn
left onto Tower Road. This is the road that
will take you to the Cornerstone Village and
the parking lots.
- Follow Tower Road
until you reach the stop sign and turn left
on to University High Street.
- Follow University
High Street past the Cornerstone Village
and on your left you will see “LOT
C”. This is where you will park. The
Education building is across the road from
LOT C.
