A pre-conference symposium will be held at SFU Harbour
Centre on July 5, 2006, to allow researchers and graduate students from the fields
of education, psychology and cognitive neuroscience to meet together with internationally
renowned scholars to discuss issues concerning neurobiology, experience, reading
and dyslexia.
In this full day symposium, researchers will present their current research findings, followed by an open discussion period that will focus both on the research findings, and on the strengths and challenges associated with conducting research that utilizes neural-imaging and eye-tracking technologies.
