Research Interests

Traumatic stress studies (trauma and journalism, witnessing trauma, secondary traumatic stress, acute and posttraumatic stress); counsellor education; visuality; somatic psychotherapies; counselling children; cultural studies; qualitative research methodology; expressive individual and group-based trauma interventions.

Areas of Teaching

Group counselling, counselling theories, family counselling, vocational counselling, skill development, clinical and practicum supervision.

Private Counselling Practice

Trauma related issues using individual and group interventions; supervision for counsellors in the field.
