Program Coordinator Information

Coordinators work in an administrative and program development capacity in Professional Programs and have the following responsibilities:

  • arranging school placements for student teachers
  • initiating, coordinating and supporting Faculty Associates
  • organizing and providing workshops in supervision for School Associates
  • maintaining liaison with school district personnel
  • participating in program evaluation and development
  • coordinating specific program tasks (e.g. student services, instruction development)
  • undertaking instructional tasks with PDP students
  • counselling student teachers
