Congratulations to Education professors Lynn Fels, Maureen Hoskyn, Paul Neufeld, Phil Winne (in metacognition and learning technologies) and John Nesbit, who were recently awarded SSHRC Small Grants.

This was a first-time application for competitive funding for Lynn, who is a new member of the Faculty.

Maureen’s grant, her third successful SSHRC Small Grant, adds to her current funding from a SSHRC Strategic Joint Initiative and Human Early Learning Partnership with the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development.

This is a second successful SSHRC Small Grant for Paul, and adds to his current funding from Metropolis BC with Suzanne Smythe and a SSHRC Standard Research Grant with Kelleen Toohey.

Phil’s fifth successful SSHRC Small Grant adds to his and John’s current SSHRC Standard Research Grant, as well as, Phil’s Canada Foundation for Innovation/BC Knowledge and Development Fund Grant.
