An award winning NFB production filmed in the Strait of Georgia, it is an excellent resource on river estuaries. Estuary describes the natural features of an estuary, outlines its intricate food chain, its economic importance and its place in farming, forestry, industrial and urban development. It is available in video format in many school resource centres and public libraries.

Thunder In the Canyon
A group of young people travel 1000 km down the Fraser River from Prince George to Musqueam in a river raft experiencing the river first hand. They meet people who live along and use the river such as the First Nations people and ranchers. The great-great-great grandson of Simon Fraser accompanies the group.
