Along with its focus on multicultural education and diversity, the Faculty of Education values involvement in global education, particularly the opportunities for collaborative partners and ourselves to deepen our understanding of education.  
International Programs and the other program areas within the Faculty of Education develop and coordinate a variety of international programs and projects, which link with other faculties and institutions around the world. lake
We work closely with the University’s other Faculties, with the SFU International office, with government Ministries of Education, and with funding agencies such as the Canadian International Development Agency, World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Inter-American Development Bank.  
All of the Faculty of Education’s international activities are assessed first and foremost in terms of their educational quality and academic accountability. country
