These sample release letters are available to be used by Faculty of Education PDP students. The letters are samples only, student teachers should show the letter to their school principal and make whatever changes are necessary to meet school and district requirements.

The letter should be reprinted on school letterhead and go out under the principal's signature. The Faculty of Education advises student teachers that videotapes or other data recorded under these conditions may not be used for anything other than personal educational records; may not be uploaded to the web; and should not be retained after completing the Professional Development Program.
