The CET is home to a variety of equipment, services and materials which faculty, staff, students and the education community are invited to use. Please feel free to phone or drop in and discover everything the Centre has to offer!

Television Resources
The CET has a huge collection of educational videos! You can search our video database and access release letters to use in the classroom.
Instructional Lab
Our instructional computer lab has 32 Macintosh computers with high speed ethernet connections. A perfect space for class demos, workshops or seminars - we also feature separate scanning/graphics and instructor/demonstration stations.
Drop-In Lab
Our drop-in lab consists of 16 Macintosh computers located near the entrance to the CET. They are intended for casual student wordprocessing, e-mail, etc. 'Drop in' and use one of our machines before or after your next class or seminar.
Preparation Area
This area features a number of tried and true technologies that teachers have come to rely on including, photocopying facilities, laminators, and paper die-cuts. It's a great place for new and experienced teachers to prepare lesson materials.
Loans Desk
The CET has a host of other media equipment, software and materials to aid our clients in preparing for the classroom or the lecture hall.
The 'Blue' Room
This space is ideal for various video or still shoots, interviews, video and audio conferencing, smaller AV presentations and meetings. It is equipped with audio conferencing equipment, an interactive Whiteboard, and overhead and data projection units.
The Cafe
The Cafe is an ideal place for impromptu meetings, surfing the net on the Imacs or just for hanging out with your friends. Come and enjoy the cafe setting!
A/V booths
In the audio/video booths, you can make tapes and videos, listen to records or CDs, or record narration for your project.
iBook Cart
The CET has one iBook cart with a compliment of 16 iBooks and borrowable by Education instructors. Taking advantage of the faculty's wireless internet setup, the cart functions as a portable computer lab for use in classrooms and our own instructional lab.
