Partnerships and Projects

Simon Fraser University's motto is ‘Thinking of the World”. Our academic community thinks globally and in collaboration with communities near and far, SFU researchers, educators and students embrace new knowledge to help solve the world’s most pressing issues.

Along with its focus on multicultural education and diversity, the Faculty of Education values involvement in global education, particularly the opportunities for collaborative partners and ourselves to deepen our understanding of education.

The Office of International Education and the other program areas within the Faculty of Education develop and coordinate a variety of international programs and projects, which link with other faculties and institutions around the world.

We work closely with the University’s other Faculties, with the SFU International office, with government Ministries of Education, and with funding agencies such as the Canadian International Development Agency, World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Inter-American Development Bank.
