Visiting Scholar

Thank you for your interest in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University.

Please note that the Faculty of Education has limited capacity to accept visiting scholars, and we are not able to offer extensive support.

In order to assist applicants in finding someone in the Faculty of Education with a matching academic background and research interest, please review the profiles of our faculty at: http://www.educ.sfu.ca/profiles/

Please contact one or two faculty members you wish to collaborate with in the Faculty of Education via email and attach the following documents electronically to them and cc devi_pabla@sfu.ca.

• A letter explaining why you would like to become a visiting scholar at SFU, including the dates and duration of your intended stay;
• Curriculum Vitae;
• A summary of research interests

Once your application has been approved and a faculty member has agreed to be your mentor, a formal letter of invitation will be issued (which may be required to obtain a visa).
